How does consignment work?
Simple. We do all the work for you. You bring your items, we set the prices. 50/50 split. Or an additional 10% if you opt for in store credit. Once we set the prices they drop 15% after 30 days, then 30% after 45 days and 45% after 60 days.Price stays at 45% off until the end of the consignment period of 90 days. Then after 90 days if your items have not sold you can pick them up. If you do not retrieve unsold items after 90 days we assume you do not want them anymore and they become Boomerang property to do with as we see fit (usually we donate to lift up).
How will I know when my item(s) have sold?
You can check to see if your items have sold at your CONSIGNER LOGIN your email address is both User ID and Password.
How will I receive payment?
Money goes on your account here at Boomerang until you advise us what to do with it. Money stays on your account for 18 months, anytime you keep your account current by consigning an item or spending your money as in-store credit, that 18 months starts over again, simple. If you want a check we ask that you call or email to request a check in advance. Get your request to us by Sunday night so we can issue checks on Tuesdays.
How do I set the prices?
You don’t have to. We take care of all the hard stuff!
Consignment Procedures
- Please clean or wash your items before you bring them in for consignment.
- You can bring your items whenever it is convenient for you to do so. Keep in mind that we take items that are in season, it’s hard to sell skis in July or golf clubs in January.
- Items that have rips tears stains or are not in usable condition will be turned away. If it’s old and worn out maybe it’s best to just let it go.
